A former Rocky Mount Truist banker is suing the bank in U.S. District Court alleging workplace discrimination and infliction of emotional distress starting as far back as about a year ago when her manager placed a Chucky doll in her office chair.
Debra Jones in the lawsuit is referring to the 1988 horror movie “Child’s Play,” in which a doll named Chucky, possessed by the soul of a criminal, comes to life and kills people.
